Just like in real life, no one feels comfortable leaving the house with only one door locked. A home is truly secure only when the main lock is reinforced with an additional one.
And in the digital world, at SOC Connect, your account is protected in the very same way.
Alongside your login password, SOC Connect also provides an additional layer of defense - the App Security feature.
👉🏻 Just imagine - if someone borrows your phone or you accidentally leave it somewhere, they could access all your apps - but not SOC Connect!
👉🏻 Because in front of them is a personal PIN that only you know, along with a biometric authentication like a fingerprint or Face ID that only you can unlock.
👉🏻 This is the second lock for your private space - a layer of protection that gives you complete peace of mind, even when your device is out of reach!
📌 To activate the App Security feature, all you need to do is follow a few simple steps:
1️⃣ Tap on your profile picture in the top-left corner and go to “Settings”.
2️⃣ Tap on the “Security” section.
3️⃣ Right at the top is the “PIN & FACE ID” section, where you can enable either one or both of these layers of protection according to your preference.
🔹 When you activate the PIN, the system will ask you to enter a 4-digit code. Make sure to choose one that’s hard to guess, and ideally, avoid using the same code as your device password.
🔹 Next, you can enable fingerprint or Face ID, depending on your device.
SOC Connect encourages you to enable both the PIN and biometric authentication to ensure the highest level of security for your private space!
Remember, your password protects your account, while App Security protects the app right on your device.
