📂 Data Collection Mechanism
When users access the website, application, or SOC JSC extension, the system may automatically collect certain technical data such as IP addresses, cookies, and information that users provide voluntarily (email, registration forms, feedback, surveys, etc.).
This collection aims to analyze behavior, improve services, and better support users.
For Web3 applications and crypto wallets:
- SOC JSC does not collect seed phrases, private keys, wallet passwords, or any sensitive data related to users' digital assets.
- The application only processes necessary technical data (such as blockchain wallet addresses, signed transaction information, blockchain network data) to facilitate wallet connection and operation.
For decentralized applications (dApps):
- SOC JSC does not collect personal data.
- If data is generated, it will be stored on the servers of the users themselves, their company, or their partners, rather than being directly collected or retained by SOC JSC.
For applications integrating AI:
- SOC JSC may collect contact data from users' devices when granted permission. This data may be uploaded to the system at soc.socjsc.com to facilitate connection and synchronization features.
- Additionally, some personal information (name, date of birth, gender, related data, etc.) may also be sent to the AI system through SOC JSC's platform or Personality Engine to assist in analysis, personalization, and enhancing service experience. In some necessary cases, data may be processed by third-party AI service providers in accordance with appropriate security and privacy standards.
For the SOC PersonUp application:
- SOC PersonUp collects location data (GPS), positioning information via Wi-Fi fingerprints/mobile tower (not precise coordinates, only for quick location and battery saving) and movement status (stationary, walking, running, sitting in a car, biking) to record the user's time and location, serving the analysis/timeline feature in the personality profile of the application.
- Location data is collected both when the application is open and when it is closed/running in the background (background location) to ensure continuity of the timeline.
📋 Scope of Use
The collected information (except for Web3/dApp applications as mentioned above) is only used for the purposes of:
- Answering questions and supporting users.
- Providing information about updates.
- Improving product content and interface.
- Conducting surveys and researching user behavior.
- Carrying out service promotion activities.
If necessary, SOC JSC may share information with trusted third parties for the above purposes, but will ensure it is not used for illicit purposes.
⏳ Retention Period
- Personal information is retained until the user requests deletion or performs the deletion themselves.
- After the user requests or performs the deletion, the data will be put into a pending deletion state and will be completely deleted from the system within the next 30 days.
- In other cases, data will continue to be securely stored on SOC JSC's server system.
👤 Access Rights
- Users have the right to request access to, edit, or delete their personal data.
- Besides SOC JSC and legal third parties, no one is permitted to access personal information unlawfully.
🗑️ Data Deletion Instructions
- All applications developed by SOC JSC have built-in features that allow users to delete their accounts actively. When an account is deleted, all data related to that account will also be deleted from the system.
- The account deletion function is usually located in sections such as “Account → Delete Account” or “Settings → Delete Account,” and users need to log in to access and use this function.
- Additionally, users can send a request to delete their account via email to support@socjsc.com. Note, it is necessary to use the exact email address registered to the account for the system to verify and process the request.
- After the account deletion request is made, the account will be put into a temporary suspension status for 30 days. During this time, users can request to restore the account by sending an email to support@socjsc.com (using the email linked to the account).
- After 30 days, if no restoration request is made, all data will be permanently deleted and cannot be restored.
🔒 Commitment
- SOC JSC is committed not to rent or sell users' personal information to any third parties.
- Personal information is only shared in the cases:
- With the user's consent;
- At the lawful request of competent authorities;
- Or when necessary to provide services, provided that the third party only uses the data within permitted scope.
- For Web3 applications and dApps: SOC JSC does not collect seed phrases, private keys, wallet passwords, or any data that allows access to digital assets. Users have full control over their data and digital assets.
- SOC JSC strives to protect data with safety measures; however, cannot guarantee 100% security during transmission over the Internet. Furthermore, SOC JSC's website or applications may contain links to other websites outside the control of SOC JSC.
In these cases, SOC JSC is not responsible for the content or privacy policies of those websites.
📌 Note for Chrome Extensions
The Chrome extensions developed by SOC JSC only require permissions necessary to perform the main functions of each extension. These permissions may include access to active tabs, executing code on pages, downloading files to devices, providing options for actions from the right-click menu, or other technical permissions needed for specific functions.
Unless specified in the Data Transparency Table by product, SOC JSC's Chrome extensions do not collect personal information, do not store browsing history, do not sell user data, and do not transfer user data to third parties.
Some extensions may process webpage content or technical data in the user's browser to perform functions requested by the user. This processing only serves the function of the extension and is not used for advertising, user profiling, behavioral analysis, or unrelated purposes.
The current Chrome extensions of SOC JSC include:
- SOC CopyLink: an extension that allows users to quickly copy any link to the clipboard by holding down a key and clicking.
- SOC SnapPDF: an extension that helps users save an open webpage as a PDF file. The webpage content is only processed locally in the browser when the user actively exports a PDF.
- SOC Wallet: a Web3 wallet extension that allows users to create, manage wallets and interact with supported blockchain networks. SOC Wallet does not collect seed phrases, private keys, wallet passwords, or any data that allows access to users' digital assets. Sensitive wallet data is stored and processed on the user's device according to the security mechanisms of the extension.
